Angora Rabbit Pin

This pin is a delightful carving by James E. Boyle cast in fine lead-free jeweler's pewter.  If you have  Angora Rabbits or enjoy spinning the fiber from these sweet, wool-bearing beauties then this pin will delight you.  The actual  size of this pin is 1" X  1 3/4"  and is signed by the artist.

Wonderful Spinning Wheel Pin

This lovely spinning wheel pin was created by James E. Boyle and cast by hand in lead-free Jeweler's  pewter. This was the first piece in the Spinning and Weaving line and is still our most popular pin.  The pin is 1" X 1 1/4" and has hand soldered findings.  The pin is also signed by the artist!

Jacob Sheep Pin

This pin depicts a four horned ram and could be a Jacob or Navaho-Churro ram as he is carved and cast in lead-free,  jeweler's  pewter which shows no color markings.  This is a very striking pin carved with great detail by the artist James E. Boyle.   There are other four horned breeds in Great Britain such as the Scottish sheep known as the Hebridean, and still another rare breed known as the Manx Loaghtan.  This Pin is hand cast in solid, Lead free jeweler's pewter and the findings are all hand soldered by the artist..  The actual size is 1 1/2" X 1 1/4"  

Sheep Earrings

These are perfect little sheep earrings! The sheep were designed by James E. Boyle and hand carved to exacting detail.  The little ewes are hand cast and signed by the artist right here in the USA and they are truly delightful.  The French style earring wires are surgical steel and suitable for people with allergies and sensitive skin. They are cast in 100% fine, jeweler's pewter and contain no lead. The pewter has a 2% sterling content to add hardness and shine.
 Each sheep is slightly over 1/2 wide. They look a bit like Southdowns or chunky little Dorsets.   Romney Breeders like these little fluffs too!

Ram Pin

This lovely ram pin has a feel that almost reminds me of Art Nouveau jewelry.  Perhaps he is an Icelandic or Shetland ram or he could be a Scottish Blackface tup!   This is a beautifully detailed brooch by the artist/jeweler James E. Boyle.  This piece is made entirely by hand and signed by the artist.  The pin is cast of fine lead-free jeweler's pewter and is 1 1/4" wide.



Etched Ram Head Pin

This is a very attractive pin with hand soldered findings.  It was hand cast in lead-free jeweler's pewter.  This pin was etched from one of the drawings of artist, Beth Maxwell Boyle.  It is a really nice size to pin on a vest or blouse but it also would be very appropriate on a hat!  It is 3/4" wide.

Drop Spindle/Boat Shuttle Earrings

These are  one of our best selling earring sets at shows!   From one French ear wire hangs a drop spindle, from the other a boat shuttle.  These miniatures were carved and cast in solid, lead-free pewter by artist/jeweler, James E. Boyle.  The ear wires are made of surgical steel and should be safe for the most sensitive ears.   The drop spindle and shuttle are one inch long

Sheep Shearing Man Pin

This pin is cast in lead free jeweler's pewter and is 1 1/2" X 2".  The original was carved from life by James Boyle.  This pin depicts a gentleman  shearing a sheep in the traditional manner with hand shears.   You will receive allot of comments when you wear this striking pin.  This detailed and beautiful pin is signed by the artist! 

Spinning Women Pin

This is a new piece by James E. Boyle and was carved in life like detail.  A lovely women is seated with her spinning wheel under motion.  The pin is hand cast in fine, lead free, jeweler's pewter and signed by the artist.  The findings are hand soldered as well. The pin is 1 1/2" X 1 1/8". 

Llama Head Necklace

This Pendant is a fine head study of a handsome llama. It was carved by artist James E. Boyle from photographs of a real llama .  He has accurately captured an elegant male llama's head in fine detail.  This bold pendant is 1 1/8" X 1 1/4" and is light weight dispite its size.  The pendant was cast in fine lead-free jeweler's pewter and  polished to a warm luster.  The pendant is signed by the artist.

Pack Llama Necklace

This little llama pendant is reproduced from a Peruvian folk art piece in lead-free jeweler's pewter.  The llama pendant is about one inch by one and a half inches. llamas have been used in the Andes for thousands of years by the indigenous peoples of Peru and the surrounding nations.  These animals make good guard animals and can be trained to carry a pack or even pull a cart.  Their wool is a hand spinners delight and comes in many natural colors.  The high necklace comes on a 24" silver tone chain made of stainless

Llama Head Study Pin

This head study of a llama was carved by artist James E. Alpaca Pin

This Alpaca pin was carved by artist/jeweler James Boyle from photographs of these wonderful camelids!  A smaller, woolier cousin of the llama, these exquisite animals produce some of the finest wool in the world.  They are most well know in their homeland, Peru, but they are fast becoming more well known in the USA where they are now being bred for wool and as pets. This wonderful pin is hand cast by the artist in lead free, jeweler's pewter. It is also signed.  The pin has hand soldered findings and is 1 1/2" X 1 1/2" 

Spinning Wheel Earrings

These tiny, carved,  3-D,  spinning wheel earrings are very striking and beautiful.  They were carved and hand cast by the artist/jeweler James E. Boyle in fine lead-free pewter just this Sept.  This is a brand new item and they have never yet been seen at shows or in shops.  The dainty wheels hang from French style, surgical steel, ear wires.  Every detail of the wheel can be seen on these carefully carved, miniature Saxony Spinning Wheels.  If you weave or spin you must have a pair of these great earrings that are hand crafted in the USA.

The Young Shepherd Pin

This is a wonderful handcrafted pin made from fine , lead free, jewelers pewter.  The young shepherd lad is holding a lamb and has his trusty Border Collie by his side.  This quality pin is a sheep lovers delight.The artist carved this from an actual photograph of a shepherd from Scotland.  It has quality findings and is signed by the artist.  Pin size, 1 1/2 "  X  2 1/2"

Angora Goat Pin

This exquisite pin was carved and cast by artist/jeweler James E Boyle.  This angora buck is very lifelike with his long wool and delicate curving horns.  This piece was carved from actual photographs of Angora goats and is part of the Fiber Animal Collection by J. Boyle.  Angora goats were first bred in Asia Minor between 1571-1451 BC in the Angora District of Asia Minor.   These animals produce the wool we know as Mohair.   This delightful little goat pin is 2 " X 1 1/2" and is cast in solid lead-free jeweler's pewter.  The pin is also signed by the artist!

The Navajo Weaver Pin

This Navajo Weaver Pin was carved from a vintage photograph in fine detail.  You can see every thread of the warp and the texture in the log frame of her loom.  This unique pin was carved by James Boyle and hand cast in fine leadfree jeweler's pewter.  The sturdy findings were hand soldered and the pin is signed by the artist. The pin is 1 3/4" X 2".  The Navajo Weaver pin is polished to a warm lustre and has an antiqued finish that shows off the wonderful craftsmanship of this piece! This pin is 2"  X 1 1/2"

Drop Spindle Earrings

These drop spindle earrings are really fun!  You can see the spindles even have "wool" on them.  Crafted by James Boyle and cast in Jeweler's pewter these are a delight to wear.  The ear wires are French style and surgical steel. The pewter is completely lead-free!  Wear these with a pin or by themselves they are sure to draw attention!

Boat Shuttle Earrings

These pewter boat shuttle earrings are very striking and beautiful.  They were carved and hand cast by the artist/jeweler James E. This ram head belt buckle was designed and sculpted by Beth Maxwell Boyle.   It is hand cast in a high grade of lead free,  jewelers pewter and polished to a warm luster.  This  belt buckle is very comfortable to wear and is suitable for men or women.   If you own Sheep or just enjoy fine artwork this handcast buckle is an item you will enjoy for years. Lambs on a Crook Pin

 This is a very special,  little, herding pin of sheep or lambs flocking on a shepherds crook.  This pin is wonderful for any shepherd and is also perfect for any dog handler.  People who work breeds other than Border Collies, like this herding pin.  Of course this also is perfect for those who do work B.C.s. This tack pin is a nifty size to go on a man's hat or lapel.  It is light and can be worn by either sex.  It  is a handcrafted piece made from fine , lead free, jewelers pewter. The artist, James Boyle, carved this from life.  This pin is signed by the artist.  The herding pin is 1 1/4 " wide.   It secures  to your garment with two tack pins that are cast in place.  The pinch backs hold it very securely and because it has two it will not swivel around or tare your clothing. 

Border Collie Working with Handler pin

Here is a wonderful new pin by James E. Boyle of The Rams Horn, carved expressly for the Border Collie National Trials at Bell Grove Plantation in Virginia.  The pierced out areas allow fabric to show through between the figures which gives this design a nice light effect.  The little shepherd with crook extended works his dog and gathers his ewes.  The overall length of this pin is 2  1/4 inches and it is light enough to be worn on a blouse or hat.  I like it on the lapel of my tweed blazer.  The original was carved by hand and each pin is hand cast by the artist in 100% lead-free pewter.   This pin has a traditional pin and safety clasp, not tack pins.  All findings are hand soldered.

Spinning Wheel Post Earrings

I love these post earrings.  They are so comfortable you forget you are wearing them! This little pair of spinning wheels are engraved in a hexagonal shield. They are 1/2 inch across.  The mold for these little earrings was made from a 1800s steel printers block!  The saxony wheel earrings are hand cast from lead-free jeweler's pewter and polished to a warm glow. These are really quite light weight and have surgical steel posts and ear nuts that should be fine for even the most sensitive ears!  PLEASE NOTE:  Pewter contains neither lead nor Nickel silver!

This necklace is so fantastic.  The double bowed sheep shears are carved in realistic detail and cast in solid, lead-free, jeweler's pewter by artist/jeweler James E. Boyle. The design matches the earrings we also offer here.  The chain is stainless steel and 24 inches long.   This is a  light necklace that goes with any style clothing  Both from and back are highly detailed. Blackface Ram Head Pin

This is a most handsome ram or tup pin.  He is a very classic carving of a Scottish Blackface ram with his handsome curly horns and roman nose.  This brooch was reproduced from an old Scottish piece.

The mold for these was made from an antique Victorian piece we purchased to reproduce for our Sheep and Wool line. We have fashioned these as comfortable post earrings with surgical steel posts and ear nuts.  The rams are cast in fine detail and they are stunning.   We just added these to our sheep and textile jewelry line this May. They are cast in 100% fine, jeweler's pewter and contain no lead. The pewter has a 2% sterling content to add hardness and shine.  Each ram's head is about 5/8" wide. They look a bit like Merinos, Rambouillet or Persian rams.  Perhaps They show Greek influence and come from Classical Greece or the Roman Empire.  They definitely look like something from an ancient civilization and that's why we were so attracted by the design. 

Handler and Border Collie Pin
