The Shepherds Bothy

Psalm 23
A psalm of David.
Psalm 23
Words: The Scottish Psalter

1  The Lord's my shepherd, I'll not want.
2     He makes me down to lie
In pastures green: he leadeth me
         the quiet waters by.

   3  My soul he doth restore again;
and me to walk doth make
      Within the paths of righteousness,
ev'n for his own name's sake.

4  Yea, though I walk in death's dark vale,
yet will I fear none ill:
For thou art with me; and thy rod
         and staff me comfort still.

5  My table thou hast furnished
         in presence of my foes;
My head thou dost with oil anoint,
         and my cup overflows.

6  Goodness and mercy all my life
         shall surely follow me:
And in God's house for evermore
         my dwelling-place shall be.

Salmenes 23
5   Du dekker bord for mig like for mine fienders øine, du salver mitt hode med olje; mitt beger flyter over.

A Shepherd's Dream Video

But his own people like to sheep
thence to go forth He made.
And he amidst the wilderness
them, as a flock did lead.

Thy foot he will not let slide,
nor will He slumber that thee keeps,
Behold he that keeps Israel
He slumbers not, nor sleeps.
